‘Street Woman Fighter 2’ Rewind: Performances That Stole the Show

‘World of Street Woman Fighter’, the third season of Mnet’s widely successful Street Woman Fighter series, has been announced and is set to premiere in May 2025. Even the new MC has been confirmed, ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin, which has only added to the excitement. With all the anticipation building up, we thought it was the perfect time to look back at some of the most iconic performances from ‘Street Woman Fighter 2.’

This dance crew survival show was a massive hit. Even if you haven’t watched it, you’ve probably come across the iconic “Smoke” challenge that trended all over social media — celebrities like V and Jungkook of BTS even took part in it. The show introduced us to some incredible dancers from Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand, and more. And of course, it gave the world a proper introduction to the now-famous girl-crush K-Pop choreographer, Bada Lee.

So, let’s take a look back at some of the unforgettable moments and performances that defined ‘Street Woman Fighter 2’.

1. BEBE – Ending Credit

Rewatching this performance still sends shivers down my spine. No matter how many times I’ve seen it, it remains a phenomenal performance.

While all crews delivered powerful Ending Credit stages — each trying to express something meaningful about their team — BEBE stood out. The use of face masks and the speech at the beginning were incredibly deep. Even though Bada Lee was injured and couldn’t give her 100%, you could still feel the crew’s raw energy coming through the screen. It was a perfectly planned and executed performance — simply unmatched.

2. 1MILLION – Natural

Although 1MILLION’s Mega Crew Mission was amazing, my personal favorite remains their performance of Imagine Dragons’ ‘Natural’. Lia Kim, the face of 1MILLION and one of South Korea’s top choreographers, truly shone here. This stage felt like both a display of her creative talent and a team effort that highlighted everyone’s strengths.

3. JAM REPUBLIC – Global Artist Mission

We all know that Beyoncé is the queen of empowerment, and JAM REPUBLIC perfectly captured that essence in their Global Artist Mission performance. With just 13 hours to prepare, they still delivered a stage that was strong, emotional, and commanding.

Each member brought something unique to the choreography, and the transition moment during ‘Baby Boy’ — when they took off their corsets — was just next-level. They owned that stage.

4. MANNEQUEEN – Mega Crew Mission

Fans were excited to see aespa’s Winter join the performance, but it was the elegant choreography at the beginning that stole the whole show. The collab featuring Waacking queen Yoonji and the iconic Lip J made the performance intense and unforgettable. Of course, Winter’s addition brought a soft yet powerful touch that further elevated the performance.

And, let’s not forget — no MANNEQUEEN performance is complete without queen Cera’s signature leg move, right?

5. JAM REPUBLIC – K-Pop Death Match Mission

What I love about JAM REPUBLIC is how every member shines individually, and the spotlight is shared equally. They only had five members, but they made excellent use of the stage and looked like they were truly having fun every second.

Their choreography to ‘Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife’ became instantly iconic. And the moment when Kirsten supported Latrice’s injured foot with her hands mid-performance — that was such a beautiful and heartwarming scene.

BEBE – Hwasa’s New Song Choreography Mission

While 1MILLION’s choreography may have been perfect for Hwasa (I truly admire HARIMU’s dedication to the idol and her song), BEBE brought something entirely different. Instead of going for a sexy concept like the others, they stayed true to their hip-hop, cool, and trendy vibe, and it worked perfectly with the song.

Their clean and refreshing moves made the performance addictive — you just want to watch it (and listen to the song) on repeat. The choreographer didn’t just follow the rhythm — she owned every beat. That’s what I call crazy talent.

Honorable Mentions:

MANNEQUEEN – Elimination Battle vs. LadyBounce

Although this was a very short performance battle against LadyBounce, it was powerful and full of color. Honestly, this performance stood out to me. And, obviously, with ‘Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)’, in the background, even that small mistake couldn’t take away from how emotionally moving it was.

JAM REPUBLIC – Battle Performance Mission

The duo performance by Kirsten and Latrice was pure fire…and iconic. Their aura, their energy, and the force behind every move — they showed the world what international dance professionals truly look like.

Bada Lee – First Battle

Did I mention how charismatic Bada Lee is? (Yes, you guessed it — I’m a huge fan!)

Her first freestyle battle with Redy made everyone fall head over heels with her. Despite her tall frame, Bada didn’t let her height limit her. She used it to her advantage, delivering sharp and killer moves. Calm, confident, and skilled, she slayed the stage and became the ultimate girl crush for everyone watching.

So, which of these performances was your favorite? Tell us in the comment section below!
