Pandemic has enabled people from all around the globe to diminish the barriers called ‘culture’ and ‘language.’ The Hallyu wave has definitely been the most favorable of them. India has lately seen a great rise of Korean viewership and interest in Korean culture has been on a rise ever since pandemic.
It would however not be the first time that remakes of K-Dramas are being released. Previously K-Dramas like ‘My Mister’ and ‘Ode to My Father’ also saw remakes which proved to become a great success. ‘
Something in the Rain’ also known as ‘Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food’ aired in the year 2018, with Actress Son Ye Jin and Actor Jung Hae In in the lead roles as they struggle to prove their love to themselves and the world with a massive age gap between them.
This is a drama that speaks a lot of the taboos faced in the current world, especially by women. Starring Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In and directed by Ahn Pan Seok, it definitely connects with viewers on a deeper level.
JTBC studio teaming with Pocket Aces, one of the best Digital Entertainment companies in India, have also raised expectation and anticipation for the same.
