Good Luck Taemin!
SHINee’s Taemin enlisted in the military earlier today. After receiving six weeks of basic training, he will begin his service in the military band. Key posted pictures of Taemin with his other group members, Minho and Onew, on Instagram. Minho also posted a group photo and a selfie with Taemin in the car.

Keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic and Taemin’s wishes, the location and timing of his enlistment had been kept private, and he was to enlist without any events. However, it seems that the location was leaked as pictures of him surrounded by bodyguards and fans were posted by media outlets after 2 PM KST on May 31.
Taemin is the last member of SHINee to enlist in the military. He will be discharged in November 2022.
