SHINee’s Minho, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, and TWS’ Dohoon have been officially announced as the MCs for the ‘2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.’ Set to air live on December 31, this year’s theme is “Wannabe,” promising a spectacular conclusion to 2024 with dazzling performances and unforgettable moments.
Girls Generation’s YoonA is hosting the music festival for the 10th year in a row, showcasing her experience and skill. SHINee’s Minho is back as an MC for the second year, teaming up with YoonA for the third time after 2018 and last year. Joining them for the first time is TWS’s Dohoon, adding fresh energy to the show.
In other news, the MCs have been busy with exciting projects this year. Earlier this year, Minho released his first solo album, ‘CALL BACK‘, which featured collaborations with aespa’s NingNing and RIIZE’s Sohee, showing off his talent and ability to mix different music styles.
YoonA is preparing for her role in the upcoming drama ‘The Tyrant’s Chef‘, where she’ll play a star chef who travels back in time and meets a famous king.
Dohoon, as part of TWS, achieved chart-topping success with hits like ‘plot twist‘ and the group’s latest single, ‘Last Bell‘. Taking on the MC role at the ‘MBC Gayo Daejejeon’ is another significant milestone for him.
The ‘2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon’ promises dazzling performances and exciting chemistry from this hosting trio.
