New Drama Alert!
Seashore Village ChaChaCha being the literal translation of this new drama is a remake of the film “Mr. Hong.” In December 2020, it was said that Shin Min A and Kim Seon Ho were in talks to start in a new drama, and it was confirmed on April 2.
Shin Min A will take the role of a beautiful and brainy dentist, who’s life beings to fall apart because of a little righteousness. After a number of bottlenecks she decides to shift to seashore village, Gongjin, since fate wants her to meet Mr. Hong. Kim Seon Ho will play the Hong Soo Sik, commonly known as Mr. Hong in town. Though he’s unemployed, he does odd jobs and helps those in need regardless of the situation.
The story will be written by Shin Ha Eun and will be directed by Yoo Je Won. The drama’s production team stated, “A perfect rom-com lineup is complete. Not only will Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho show surprisingly high synchronization with their characters, but the bubbly yet warm story will also provide comfort. Please look forward to their rom-com chemistry that is bound to make hearts flutter.” The drama is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year via tvN.
