On July 3, PLEDIS Entertainment released a statement regarding SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan’s health on Weverse.
The agency informed the fans that SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan would be unable to attend upcoming events such as the Tencent Music Entertainment Award 2023, the Fan signing event in China, and the SEVENTEEN Tour ‘FOLLOW TO SEOUL’ due to his health issues.
Although Seungkwan expressed his determination to continue working, the agency has decided that focusing on improving his health, as advised by medical professionals, would be more beneficial.
Seungkwan made his debut in 2015 as a member of the Boy Group ‘Seventeen’. He is also part of Seventeen’s subunit ‘BSS‘ alongside Hoshi and DK. In addition, he has worked on OSTs of dramas including ‘Record of Youth‘, ‘Lovestruck in the City‘, ‘Hospital Playlist 2‘, and ‘Link‘.
