SBS’ drama ‘Taxi Driver 3’ has been confirmed to premiere in the second half of this year!
On February 6, SBS officially announced the cast and release plans for the highly anticipated third season of the hit drama ‘Taxi Driver’ on their social media accounts. The network shared, “The new season of the ‘Taxi Driver’ series, which has received immense love from viewers, is officially scheduled to air on SBS in the second half of the year.” This exciting news has further heightened fans’ anticipation for the series, which first premiered in 2021, followed by its successful second season in 2023.

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, ‘Taxi Driver’ centers around the narrative of a covert taxi service called ‘Rainbow Taxi Company,’ which seeks justice for victims who have been let down by the legal system.
The third season of the show will reunite the entire Rainbow Taxi team, with Lee Je Hoon reprising his role as Kim Do Gi, Kim Eui Sung returning as the team leader, Jang Sung Cheol, and Pyo Ye Jin playing the hacker Ahn Go Eun. Actors Bae Yoo Ram and Jang Hyuk Jin will also reprise their roles as the clever engineering duo Park Jin Uhn and Choi Kyung Goo.
Additionally, writer Oh Sang Ho, who penned the first two seasons of ‘Taxi Driver,’ will return for the third season. He will collaborate with director Kang Bo Seung, known for his work as co-director of ‘Dr. Romantic 3.’
‘Taxi Driver 3’ is set to air in the second half of 2025.
