On April 8, SBS unveiled the teaser poster for its upcoming drama ‘My Royal Nemesis,’ starring Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun.
The romantic comedy follows Shin Seo Ri (Lim Ji Yeon), a struggling actress whose life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes possessed by the spirit of a notorious Joseon-era villainess. Heo Nam Jun plays Cha Se Gye, a ruthless chaebol heir often described as a “monster shaped by capitalism.”
The newly released poster offers a glimpse of Kang Dan Shim, the Joseon-era villainess who has taken over Shin Seo Ri’s body. She appears within a frame adorned with traditional Korean mother-of-pearl inlay, creating the striking illusion that she has stepped out of an ornate folding screen. Suddenly transported into 21st-century South Korea, she looks shocked and bewildered as she takes in unfamiliar sights like towering skyscrapers and speeding cars.
