South Korean actor Ryu Jun Yeol has signed with a new agency.
On June 24, United Artist Agency (UAA) announced that Ryu Jun Yeol had signed with them, stating, “Actor Ryu Jun Yeol has joined UAA as our newest family member. He is a uniquely talented actor with exceptional skill and a distinct style. We will do our best to support him so he can fully showcase his talent and reach even greater heights in his career.”
The move follows the announcement earlier this year by Ryu Jun Yeol’s long-term agency, C-JeS Studios, that it would discontinue its actor management division and shift its focus more toward production.
Ryu Jun Yeol first drew attention for his performance in the 2015 film ‘Socialphobia’. Later that year, he rose to fame with the hit tvN drama ‘Reply 1988’. Since then, he has gained acclaim for his work across a wide range of films and dramas, including ‘A Taxi Driver’, ‘Little Forest’, ‘Alienoid’, ‘Lucky Romance’, ‘Lost’, and more. His latest Netflix film, ‘Revelations’, also earned him praise for his powerfully immersive performance.
With this new beginning at UAA, fans are eager to see what direction Ryu Jun Yeol’s career will take.
Wishing Ryu Jun Yeol all the best in this exciting new chapter.
