BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s debut solo album ‘rosie’ sets a new record.
For the week ending January 25, Rosé’s debut album ‘rosie’ remained at No. 17 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.
‘rosie’ has spent five non-consecutive weeks in the top 20 of the Billboard 200, setting a new record for the most weeks in the top 20 of any K-Pop solo album in the history of the chart. Additionally, ‘rosie’ remained on the Billboard 200 for six weeks in a row, making it the longest-charting album by a female K-Pop soloist.
Furthermore, ‘rosie’ stayed strong at No. 9 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 11 on the Top Album Sales chart in its sixth week. Rosé also maintained her spot at No. 25 on the Billboard Artist 100, marking her 14th week on the chart as a soloist.
In other news, Rosé recently made a surprise cameo in Sexyy Red and Bruno Mars’ newly released MV for ‘Fat Juicy & Wet‘, which dropped on January 24. Towards the climax of the video, Rosé appeared in a striking pose alongside another top star, Lady Gaga, much to the fans’ delight.
On January 23, she also performed at the ‘Le Gala Des Pièces Jaunes’ charity event in Paris.
Rosé’s achievements and unforgettable performances continue to leave a lasting mark, proving she’s a true icon in the K-Pop industry.
