Girl band QWER is gearing up for a comeback.
On May 9 KST, Tamago Production confirmed that QWER is preparing for their comeback, with plans to return in early June. The band has already finalized their schedule and is now actively working on their new album. The announcement has made fans excited to see what kind of music and concept the group will bring this time.
Formed through the ‘QWER Project’, a YouTube series by Tamago Production in collaboration with 3Y Corporation, QWER officially debuted on October 18, 2023, with their single album ‘Harmony from Discord’. Their upcoming release will be their first new music since the drop of their second mini album, ‘Algorithm’s Blossom’, on September 23, 2024.
The four-member band with Chodan, Magenta, Siyeon, and Hina was created with an innovative concept, incorporating integrated narratives that align closely with their songs. Each member plays instruments such as guitar, bass, and drums, blending the essence of an idol girl group with the raw energy of a rock band.
Meanwhile, QWER held their first solo fan concert in January and is currently meeting fans across Asia through their first fan-con tour, ‘1, 2, QWER!’. They performed in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, last month and will meet fans in Taipei on the 14th.
Additionally, QWER will be performing and meeting fans at KCON Japan 2025 on May 10 and 11. The group has also been announced as part of the lineup for the 2025 Weverse Con Festival, set for June 1.
Get ready, as QWER is all set to meet fans with new music in June.
