Park Min Young has parted ways with her agency, Hook Entertainment.
On January 1, a Korean media outlet reported that actress Park Min Young had officially completed her contract with Hook Entertainment as of December 31, 2024. The actress had an exclusive contract with the agency since 2021, however, after discussions, both parties decided to amicably part ways and move forward.
A representative from Hook Entertainment confirmed the reports, stating, “It is true that Park Min Young’s contract has ended. We will continue to support her until the completion of her current drama. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
The actress is currently in the midst of filming her drama ‘The Confidence Man KR’ (tentative title). The drama is an adaptation of the Japanese series ‘Confidence Man JP’ and follows three swindlers who target corrupt corporations, mafia bosses, and other unscrupulous individuals to con them out of their wealth in creative ways.
In other news, Park Min Young recently won the ‘Best Artist Award – TV / Film’ and ‘9th Asia Artist Award Daesang – Actress of the Year’ at the 9th Asia Artist Award held in Bangkok, Thailand on December 27.
