Disney+ Korea has dropped an intense trailer and poster for its upcoming drama, ‘Hyper Knife,’ starring Park Eun Bin and Sol Kyung Gu.
A medical crime thriller, ‘Hyper Knife’ tells the story of a fierce rivalry between a mentor and his mentee. Releasing the poster and trailer, Disney+ describes the drama as “the story of a teacher and student who are like Decalcomania—hating each other to death but caring for each other to death.”

The drama follows two doctors: Choi Deok Hee (Sol Kyung Gu), a genius neurosurgeon, and Jung Se Ok (Park Eun Bin), a promising doctor eager to learn from Deok Hee. Se Ok, who implicitly trusts her mentor, finds herself in a quandary when Choi Deok Hee kicks her out of the OR, saying, “You will never set foot in an operating room again.”
The two reunite six years later as completely different people, and Se Ok seems to have a hidden agenda behind meeting her former mentor, going so far as to say, “I wish you would just die.” The drama explores how these two surgeons confront each other and grow through their rivalry. However, the question remains: Can Choi Deok Hee outsmart his former student before it’s too late?
‘Hyper Knife’ also stars Yoon Chan Young and Park Byung Eun.
‘Hyper Knife’ is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 19.
