Park Bo Gum has been confirmed as the new host of KBS2’s music talk show, ‘The Seasons.’
On February 14, a news channel reported that actor Park Bo Gum has been chosen as the new MC for the upcoming season of the popular music talk show ‘The Seasons.’ KBS confirmed the news and stated that other details regarding the schedule and guest lineup will be revealed later. Park Bo Gum will be the first actor to take on the role of host for the show after the conclusion of its sixth season, ‘The Seasons: Rainbow of Lee Young Ji,’ which will wrap up on February 21. Although Park Bo Gum is a professional actor, he graduated with a major in musical theatre from Myongji University, is a skilled pianist, and has consistently expressed his passion for music.
Launched in February 2023, ‘The Seasons’ is a late-night music talk show that has introduced a unique format with rotating MCs, including Jay Park, Choi Jung Hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyori, Zico, and Lee Young Ji, each bringing their own style. Park Bo Gum also made an appearance on ‘The Seasons: Artist with Zico’ in May 2024, where he performed a duet with Suzy before the release of their film ‘Wonderland’.
In other news, Park Bo Gum is set to star alongside IU in the upcoming Netflix series ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines,’ scheduled to premiere on March 7 this year. Fans are excited to see how Park Bo Gum’s charm and warmth will add new energy to the long-running beloved music show.
