Oscar-winning Korean film ‘Minari’ had landed on the OTT platform and is now available on Amazon Prime India.
Minari’ is a semi-autobiographical movie about a family of Korean immigrants trying to realize their American dream in the 1980s. It revolves around Jacob (Steven Yeun), a young Korean-American father. He, along with his wife and two children, moves from California to a farm in rural Arkansas in pursuit of stability.
Minari has received great reviews and was nominated at multiple awards shows including Academy Awards (Oscars), for which it received nomination in six different categories. The actress, Yuh Jung Youn won the Oscar as the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ hence creating history. Minari also won the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ at the Golden Globes awards.
