Netflix Korea unveils the official trailer for ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’!
On February 21 KST, Netflix Korea released the main trailer for ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’, starring IU and Park Bo Gum. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Jeju Island, the drama follows Ae Sun (IU), a remarkable rebel who dreams of leaving for Seoul, and Gwan Sik (Park Bo Gum), an unyielding and steadfast man devoted to her. Spanning from Jeju in the 1960s to Seoul in 2025, the series captures their evolving relationship, with IU and Park Bo Gum portraying their younger years while Moon So Ri and Park Hae Joon depict their later lives.
Directed by Kim Won Suk, known for ‘Misaeng’ and ‘My Mister,’ and written by Lim Sang Choon, known for ‘When the Camellia Blooms’ and ‘Fight for My Way,’ the drama promises a well-crafted story.
The drama also features a great supporting cast, including veteran actors like Na Moon Hee, Kim Yong Rim, Yeom Hye Ran, Oh Jung Se, and Uhm Ji Won. These talented actors bring the characters of Jeju Island to life, adding warmth and authenticity to the story.
Ahead of the release, IU will appear on Jang Do Yeon’s ‘Salon Drip 2’ to share behind-the-scenes stories and insights, adding to the excitement. Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum has been confirmed as the new host of KBS2’s music talk show, ‘The Seasons’.
‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ is set to premiere on March 7, 2025.
