On August 20, Netflix Korea unveiled the first official teaser and premiere date poster of its upcoming fantasy romance drama ‘Genie, Make A Wish,’ featuring Kim Woo Bin and Suzy in leading roles.

The story centers around a Genie (played by Kim Woo Bin), and a woman named Ka Young (played by Suzy), who unexpectedly becomes the owner of a mysterious magical lamp. Genie, who has awakened from a deep slumber of a thousand years, grants emotionally guarded Ka Young three life-changing wishes. An electrifying yet surprising romance brews between them as Genie tries to adapt to the modern world.
The teaser exudes a magical atmosphere, opening in a vast, sunlit desert where Ka Young stands holding the lamp. As the light begins to glow, a golden sandstorm forms, revealing the arrival of Genie before her and delivers a haunting message: “I will scour the world and find you again. Remember this. I will seek you out, and my name is Iblis.” This introduces a dark and thrilling twist to the plot. The phrase ‘Come now, to corruption!’ which casts besides them in the poster, suggests a deeper yet possibly dangerous relationship between them.

With its striking visual and a blend of supernatural mystery, emotional tension, and forbidden romance, ‘Genie, Make A Wish’ is already generating strong anticipation.
‘Genie, Make A Wish’ is set to premiere on October 3.
