Mun Ka Young has officially been named a member of the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association’s Honors Club!
On July 31, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that actress Mun Ka Young has been inducted into its Honors Club, in recognition of her continuous support and contributions as a major donor.
They shared that Mun Ka Young donated to the association to aid the residents affected by the massive wildfires in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang provinces in March. She also contributed to relief efforts for those affected by the flood this summer.
Responding to this, Mun Ka Young said, “I want to help make the world a better place, even if only in a small way. I hope this brings hope and comfort to those in need.”
The association’s Secretary-General, Shin Hoon, also commented, “People like Mun Ka Young, who practice sincere giving, bring great hope to our society. Together with Honors Club member Mun Ka Young, we will continue striving to deliver comfort and support to more people in need.”
Members of the Hope Bridge Honors Club are individuals who have contributed at least 100 million KRW toward aiding disaster-affected communities. Recently, several celebrities have come forward to offer support by donating funds toward flood relief efforts in Korea.
