On October 29, Mnet held a press conference to discuss the success of the recently concluded South Korean dance survival program ‘Street Woman Fighter.’
The conference was attended by Producer CP Kwon Young Chan, PD Choi Jeong Nam and leaders of the dance crews, WAYB, YGX, WANT and Prowdmon.
During this conference, the Producer CP Kwon Young Chan revealed his thoughts regarding a second season of the program but with male dancers. While there is no confirmed news, he commented, “We are considering to showcase the male dancers’ dances, dramas, and stories.” He also denied the rumours about the ‘Street Woman Fighter Season 2.’
Regarding the second season, Choi Jung Nam PD commented, “We are contemplating what aspects should be carried on to the next season.”
CP Kwon Young Chan also mentioned the spin-off audition version of the show ‘Street Dance Girls Fighter’ with a new panel of judges and teenage contestants. Many broadcast stations are initiating shows like ‘Street Woman Fighter’ and these kinds of dance-related programs are now being welcomed among people.
Street Woman Fighter was broadcast by Mnet and it quickly soar in popularity domestically and among International fans. It showcases the power of dance and featured eight female dance crews competing with each other to win the title.
