Meet The Winners of 2023 Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards

On October 8, 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards took place at BIFF Theatre, Busan Cinema Centre. It is an annual event organized by Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) and Korea Radio Promotion Association, to celebrate the achievements of excellent content made for TV, OTT, and online across Asia. Notably, this year’s edition, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Busan Metropolitan City, saw an expansion in the range of nominees and an increase in the number of award categories from 12 to 17. The hosts for the evening were MOMOLAND’s Nancy and actor Kim Kang-woo.

The award ceremony was attended by some of the biggest names in entertainment industries, including award winners and nominees such as SEVENTEEN’s Jun, Ryu Seung Ryong, Lim Ji-yeon, Indian Actress Karishma Tanna and more.

Taking home 6 awards was Disney+ Superhero Series ‘MOVING’, including Best Lead Actor, Best Writer, Best Creative Best Visual Effects, Best Newcomer Actor and Actress.

Netflix’s Hindi-language series ‘Scoop’ also took 2 awards home, including Best Lead Actress and Best Asian TV Series.

2. Best Lead Actress– Karishma Tanna (Scoop)

3. Best Director– Xin Shuang (The Long Season)

4. Best Writer– Kangfull (MOVING)

5. Best Supporting Actor– Hsueh Shih-ling (Taiwan Crime Stories)

6. Best Supporting Actress– Lim Ji-yeon (The Glory)

7. Rising Star of the Year– Wen JunHui and Buffy Chen

8. Best Newcomer Actor– Lee Jung Ha (MOVING)

9. Best Newcomer Actress– Go Youn Jung (MOVING)

10. Lifetime Achievement Award– Kim Jonghak
