On October 26, Mark Tuan, a member of GOT7 dropped additional teaser images for his upcoming solo comeback ‘Last Breath.’
While the previous image teaser saw the artist drowning in a bathing tub, in the latest teasers we observe him seated in the tub of water. These images and the name ‘Last Breath,’ depict that his comeback would speak volumes and probably deal with a sensitive concept relating to mental health.
Before Mark officially announced his comeback, he made some enigmatic updates on his official Instagram handle leading to speculation regarding his solo comeback. The changes include deleting/archiving all his posts and changing his display image to black. Further, he posted a story that read “I’m trying my best can’t you tell?” which was probably a hint or a spoiler.
The story made some fans worry about him and filled social media with their love and support. But many took a positive stance towards this and eagerly awaited the news about his comeback, and they finally got it on October 22 when he dropped his first teaser.
Artists usually resort to making social media handles clean when they’re planning to rebrand themselves, ahead of their comeback. Mark recently disclosed to South China Morning Post that he was working on a solo album, “I think everything sounds pretty solid. I enjoy listening to my songs, but I know it’s not 100 per cent perfect yet. Still working on it.” Though no official announcement is made, this comeback is expected to be his solo debut album.
Earlier, while promoting with GOT7, the artist released singles ‘Outta My Head’ and ‘Never Told You.’Recently he participated in the soundtrack for Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,’ alongside R&B singer BIBI on a song titled ‘Never Gonna Come Down.’ Not too long ago, he collaborated with Sanjoy, Bangladeshi–American musician, for the song ‘One In A Million.’
It is yet to be revealed whether ‘Last Breath’ would be a single or an album but it is scheduled to release on November 12. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
