Make Some Noise For 2021 MAMA + Check List Of Winners

The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2021 MAMA) was held on December 11 at 6 PM KST (2:30 IST) at CJ ENM’s Contents World in Paju City in Gyeonggi Province.

The theme for the 23rd MAMA was ‘Make Some Noise’. The show was hosted by Lee Hyori – the first female artist that has hosted the annual award show.

Many powerful stages and collaboration lineups were performed. Singers, actors, dancers, and more superstars dazzled through the red carpet and showed off their charismatic side. While many claimed that some stars’ looks were too “black on black”, many also loved their style and said that it was a great fit for a red carpet.

Performers at 2021 MAMA included many talented artists including aespa, ATEEZ, Brave Girls, ENHYPEN, INI, ITZY, JO1, NCT DREAM, NCT 127, Stray Kids, TXT, NCT U, Wanna One, and the contestants from ‘Show Me the Money Season 10.’

Special performances included Ed Sheeran, ITZY and Heo Sung Tae, Lee Hyori, and the contestants from ‘Street Woman Fighter.’

The award show also roped in a star-studded lineup for the special stage. Starting strong right off the bat, members from groups TOMORROW X TOGETHER, STRAY KIDS, ATEEZ, ITZY, aespa, and ENHYPEN hopped on for the grand unveiling. For the performance named ‘BlooM the Sound’, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Yeonjun, Stray Kids’ Hyunjin, ATEEZ’s Wooyoung, ITZY’s Yeji, aespa’s Karina, and ENHYPEN’s Heeseung performed a dazzling joint stage.

In other news, Wanna One finally had their reunion at this year’s MAMA and Wannables have never been more excited to welcome the charismatic members back into their lives. The group lived up to their hype and performed various songs including their debut song ‘Energetic’.

For the third year in a row, BTS swept all four Daesang categories at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). However, the group could not attend the ceremony due to a hectic schedule. BTS thanked their fans from their pre-recorded speech and mentioned that they are honoured to have won such a precious award due to ARMYs support.

In total, BTS took home nine trophies at 2021 MAMA.

aespa and ENHYPEN won Best New Artist, as well as Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10. Outstanding artists like Baekhyun, IU, TWICE, also won awards for best artists and best group.

Ed Sheeran went home with the Favourite International Artist award. Besides artists, the categories also include the best producer, composer, video director, and many more. We also congratulate all the winners!
