The latest teaser offers a thrilling glimpse of the main characters and dazzling visual effects, promising audiences a gripping cinematic experience. Highlights include intense close-combat scenes featuring a tense face-off between Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop, and dynamic action sequences starring Chae Soo Bin and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.

Based on the popular web novel ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint,’ the story follows Kim Dok Ja (played by Ahn Hyo Seop), who finds himself trapped in the dystopian world of a fantasy novel he has been reading. As the only person who knows what happens next, Kim Dok Ja takes it upon himself to prevent the world from reaching a disastrous end.
The narrative takes a gripping turn when Kim Dok Ja realizes that events from the book are happening in real life. It starts with a subway coming to a halt in the middle of Dongho Bridge, just as described in the novel’s first chapter. As chaos erupts, he comes face-to-face with the once-fictional Yoo Joong Hyuk, launching an intense and unpredictable journey.
The film also stars Lee Min Ho as Yoo Joong Hyuk, the protagonist of the novel within the story. The star-studded cast also features Shin Seung Ho, Im Jin A (NANA), and Kwon Eun Seong among others.
The first trailer and posters for the film were released earlier in February 2025. ‘The Prophet: Omniscient Reader’ is set to hit the theatres in July 2025.
