LOONA’s VIVI and HYUNJIN sign an exclusive contract with a new entertainment agency.
It has been confirmed that VIVI and HYUNJIN have signed the contract with CTD E&M after winning their lawsuit to cancel their contracts with their previous agency, Blockberry Creative.
CTD E&M is a newly formed entertainment agency by a former SM Entertainment member YOON DOYEON who has also participated in the LOONA project at Blockberry Creative.
LOONA initially debuted in 2018 under Blockberry Creative as a 12 member K-Pop girl group with members – HEE JIN, HYUNJIN, VIVI, HASEUL, YEOJIN, KIM LIP, JINSOUL, CHOERRY, YVES, GO WON, OLIVIA HYE, CHUU through Loona Project which started in 2016. With CHUU’s exit in 2022, LOONA was promoted as an 11-member group.
However earlier this year, members KIM LIP, HEEJIN, JINSOUL, and CHOERRY, departed from their agency after winning their lawsuit to end their contract. Reports also stated the signings of CHUU with ATRP and KIM LIP, HEEJIN, JINSOUL, and CHOERRY with Modhaus. As of now, members HASEUL, YEOJIN, YVES, GO WON, and OLIVIA HYE, are still with Blockberry Creative.
