Lee Ki Woo takes on a new challenge by starring in a historical drama for the first time.
Lee Ki Woo’s agency, Never Die Entertainment, announced that Lee Ki Woo will star as the lead in the upcoming MBC historical drama Flowers that Bloom at Night. Lee Ki Woo will play the role of Park Yoon Hak, who works with others to carry out the King’s principles while making an effort to protect his younger brother’s happy life.
Flowers that Bloom at Night is a comic action historical drama that takes place when Park Soo Ho, the ideal Geumwiyoung official that everyone desires, and Cho Yeo Hwa, a widowed woman who leads a double life by jumping the wall at night, get engaged. Despite appearing gentle, Park Yoon Hak is a person with great inner strength. On his face, he appears unconcerned, inactive, and uninterested in the outside world. Still, he has a sense of mission to take responsibility and change this distorted world by being on the king’s side. It was previously confirmed that Lee Jong Won and Honey Lee are also cast as leads in the drama.
Flowers that Bloom at Night is scheduled to broadcast in the second half of this year.
