LE-SSERAFIM has not only drawn the attention of many K-Pop music fans ever since their debut announcement but has produced an incredible record as well.
On May 2, SOURCE x HYBE‘s new female group LE SSERAFIM debuted with their highly-anticipated first mini-album ‘FEARLESS,’ which included the release of the title track of the same name. The album had already sold over 380,000 pre-order copies, which is a fantastic feat for a debut artist.
SOURCE MUSIC announced previously that, LE SSERAFIM would drop “FEARLESS”, their debut extended play, on May 2, 2022. Within seven days, the pre-orders for the EP surpassed 270,000 copies and 380,000 copies in 16 days.
‘FEARLESS‘ has now sold 176,861 copies on its first day of publication, according to data supplied by Hanteo chart. LE SSERAFIM now holds the record for the most successful debut album by a girl group in Hanteo’s history. The previous record was held by Kep1er‘s ‘FIRST IMPACT,’ which sold roughly 150,000 copies on its first day.
