The upcoming drama ‘Love’s Andante’ (literal title) confirms to have Kwon Hyun Bin and Song Ji Woo as the lead pair.
‘Love’s Andante’ is a romantic comedy that is set in the DMZ region of Goseong, Gangwon Province, and centers on a fictional peace village where individuals from North and South Korea coexist for a year while having their stories connected through music.
Kwon Hyun Bin, known his roles in dramas like ‘Pandora: Beneath the Paradise’, ‘The Red Sleeve’, takes on the role of Im Joo Hyung, a brilliant pianist renowned for his extraordinary talent and handsome appearance. He is also the first Korean to earn first position in an international competition. As a much needed break from his grueling tour schedule, Im Joo Hyung enters the peace village and unintentionally starts living with North Korea’s Ha Na Kyung.
Song Ji Woo, known for her roles in popular dramas like ‘The Glory’, ‘Love to Hate You’, and recent Netflix Original ‘A Time Called You’, on the other hand, steps into the character of will Ha Na Kyung, the daughter of a well-known chemist and a senior North Korean official, who has only learned about love from books and approaches life with a pragmatic and practical viewpoint. However, when she meets the renowned musician Im Joo Hyung, her life takes a turn in unexpected ways.
Both lead actors expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming drama, Kwon Hyun Bin shared that he was immediately enthralled by Im Joo Hyung’s character and deeply moved by the heartfelt script. He expressed his commitment to prepare diligently and give his best to showcase his new side through Im Joo Hyung.
“Ha Na Kyung shares many similarities with my real personality. I believe I can portray her character well”, remarked Song Ji Woo regarding her role in ‘Love’s Adante’.
