Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has joined forces with several brands for a string of virtual Korean experiences and special discounts on Korean products for Indian travelers and Hallyu (Korean Wave) fans in India.
KXperience is an online event, that aims to bring the Korean culture closer to Indians. This is organized by KTO India , as a way to celebrate the Hallyu wave in India and to stay connected to South Korea. The stipulated period of this event is from September 17 to November 15.
The event is created to be a perfect spot for Hallyu enthusiasts who have passion for K-Food, K-Pop, K-Beauty, K-Drama, etc. The curation of the event is made in partnership with popular brands likes Discovery+ OTT, Innisfree Cosmetics, BookMyShow.com and more. ‘The K-Challenge,’ is a PAN Indian social media contest to bright all experiences together, and it will be hosted on www.kxperience.bookmyshow.com
K-Pop idol AleXa, and popular Indian dancer/ choreographer/ singer Shraey Khanna, are listed for the K-Pop experience. Both the artists will be displaying their amazing dance skills where AleXa will perform signature Korean dance steps, while Shraey will mirror the Korean vibes with a fusion of Bollywood to it.
For ‘K-Food,’ one of Bollywood’s popular actress, who will be seen taking up a cooking challenge. Her task will be to cook delicious Korean meal. This will be played in OTT web series Star vs Food on Discovery+.
The K-Beauty experience is happening in partnership with famous cosmetics brand Innisfree, eco-friendly and from Jeju Island (South Korean), will be seen showcasing skincare tips in masterclass which is popular in Korea.
The K-Drama experience will showcase the love for K-Drama that is taking over our country, especially popular influencers who come from different fields like entertainment, fashion, beauty, and food.
