On October 23, renowned Korean singer Kim Woojin embarked on his much-anticipated ‘The Moment India Tour’, and the journey began with a bang at the Road to Cherry Blossom Festival 2023. The event took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi where Kim Woojin showcased his incredible musical talents to an excited and diverse audience.
The evening began with an exclusive fan meet-and-greet, where Kim Woojin interacted with his dedicated fans, answering their questions and even sharing some personal anecdotes along with photographs and autographs. The fanmeet set the tone for the night, fostering a sense of connection between the artist and his fans.
Before the main performance, the stage was graced by other notable talents. Boy band ‘Larger Than 90’ impressed the audience with some classic tunes, along with original numbers like ‘Overdrive,’ ‘Beaches’ and a song in their dialect, setting the atmosphere for the rest of the evening. Following their performance, singer ‘Rijune’ added a different musical dimension to the evening, captivating the crowd with his melodies.
The moment fans had been eagerly anticipating finally arrived when Kim Woojin took the spotlight. The stadium was alive with energy as fans erupted into cheers and applause. He kicked off his performance with a captivating rendition of his second mini-album, ‘The Moment: 美成年, Bounce,‘ a performance that resonated deeply with the audience. Woojin also regaled the audience with songs from his first album, ‘The Moment: A Minor 未成年’ like ‘Ready Now’ and ‘My Growing Pains’. The concert was also the first time the K-Pop artists covered the song ‘Fall’. He regaled the audience with tracks like ‘On My Way,’ ‘Telepathy’ and ‘Tryin’ from his second album. This concert marks the first time Kim Woojin is on tour with his second album. Apart from this, he also performed the OST ‘DIVE’ from popular K-drama ‘King the Land’ much to the audience’s delight.
The highlight of the night was when Kim Woojin decided to surprise the Indian Cubs with a special dance performance on a Bollywood hit number, ‘Chaleya.’ The crowd couldn’t contain their excitement as he danced to the beats with grace and enthusiasm, demonstrating his versatility as a performer. He was accompanied by a group of talented dancers who added an extra layer of spectacle to the show.

This isn’t the first time Woojin has graced India with his presence. Earlier in April 2023, he performed at the Northeast Boating Regatta 2023 in Shillong. However, his performance in Delhi marked his first-ever concert in the capital city, making the event all the more special. As ‘The Moment India Tour’ continues, fans can still purchase tickets for the upcoming shows in in Dimapur on October 26, Bengaluru on October 28, and Mumbai on October 29. Each city on the tour can expect equally stunning performances, promising more surprises and musical delights.
