Kim Seon Ho’s Controversy: Everything You Need To Know

On October 18, a netizen took to an online Korean community platform called ‘Nate Pann,’ and made a post entitled “I am disclosing actor K’s two-faced and shameless true nature.” Although no names were named, speculations were raised. 

The netizen who made the post, henceforth referred to as “Z,” disclosed that she had dated the actor until four months ago. She declared that she was impregnated with the actors baby and was forced by him to abort it, under the broken promise of marriage. 

She said, 

“He made me abort my precious baby on the false promise of marriage, and he forced me to make the sacrifice because he was sensitive when working on a project and because he was a star. I am going through severe psychological and physical trauma due to this. “Because of his difficult upbringing, he has a tremendous obsession with money. He is always obsessing over success and took the sacrifices of those around him for granted. I thought he would treat me differently, but even after we broke up, he was just busy filming commercials and had no apology or remorse.”

She further explained that the actor told her he cannot have a child now as he will have to pay 900 million won for damages, and did not have the money to do it. Instead, he promised her to marry after two years and further suggested they start living together the following year. She got the abortion done, for which the actor had only sent 2 million won to cover for the surgery and hospital fee. “I didn’t threaten, complain, or resent him for that. I was just scared that there would be a rupture between us as he’s very sensitive,”  Z said. 

 

She was contemplating whether to upload photos and other evidence to back up her claims due to legal issues. Netizens started to speculate that the accused actor could be Kim Seon Ho, after the post started to gain momentum.

Z explained that their relationship was discovered by an entertainment news outlet, after which the actor ended their relationship via a phone call. 

“He had promised to marry me and even coerced me to have the abortion. I told him to remember what kind of relationship we had and asked how he could break up with me on the phone like this, crying, and he got all worked up and said to me that he may have paparazzi’s on him and meeting up for the last time could harm him in terms of money and fame.

I moved houses without anyone knowing despite having to pay the real estate expenses and a penalty for breach of contract, I changed my license plate, and matched everything to him. I hope that he’s at least feeling regretful about irresponsibly throwing me and his dog away.”

As the netizens began to guess the name of the said actor, many speculated that it might be Kim Seon Ho based on the information. On October 20, Kim Seon Ho shared a letter of apology, admitting that he is the person mentioned in the post.

I sincerely apologize for the belated statement. I experienced a fear that felt for the first time after the article with the mention of my name was released a while ago, and that is why I am writing this now.

I was seeing her with good emotions. In that process, I hurt her due to my carelessness and inconsiderate actions.

I wanted to meet and apologize to her directly, but I am not able to properly convey the apology now and am waiting for that time to come. For now, I would like to genuinely apologize to her through this statement.

South Korean reality show “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” officially announced that the actor will be leave the program due to his controversy, and his already shot parts will be edited out as well. SPOTV News has also reported that that Kim Seon Ho has expressed his wish to leave the show as well.
