On September 10, Galaxy Corporation made an official announcement stating that singer, entertainer, and actor Kim Jong Kook has joined its artist roster.
The agency’s CEO, Choi Yong Ho, said, “Kim Jong Kook is a multi-entertainer who has achieved great success as both a group member and a solo artist, and he has built a strong presence as a television personality with his own unique style. We are honored to open a new era of AI EnterTech with him.”
Galaxy Corporation is home to singer G-DRAGON and veteran actor Song Kang Ho.
Kim Jong Kook debuted in 1995 as part of the immensely popular duo Turbo. He made his solo debut in 2001 and has since earned numerous awards, taken on supporting roles in dramas, and appeared in several variety shows like ‘X-Man’ and ‘My Little Old Boy.’ He is widely recognized as a longtime cast member of the hit variety show ‘Running Man.’ In 2021, he launched his fitness-oriented YouTube channel ‘Gym Jong Kook’, attracting 100,000 subscribers in the first five minutes.
He recently got married and is currently working on a special album and concert to celebrate his 30th anniversary in the industry.
