KickFlip is back with brand new music!
On September 22 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), KickFlip made their much-awaited comeback with their third mini-album, ‘My First Flip.’ The album title refers to my first love, replacing ‘love’ with ‘flip,’ portraying the chaotic and clumsy stories of first love while adding KickFlip’s refreshing and youthful energy.
‘My First Flip’ consists of seven tracks. The title track, ‘My First Love Song,’ co-written and co-composed by member Donghyeon, is a pop-punk track about the heart-fluttering emotions of finally confessing love for the first time, capturing its pure innocence and the courage. The music video complements the song, featuring the members as teenagers, helping to confess their love with a playful spirit and stunning, movie-like visuals.
The B-side tracks on the album include the pre-released track ‘Band-Aid,’ along with ‘Crush,’ ‘Tiki-taka,’ ‘Gas On It,’ ‘404: Not Found,’ and ‘Secret Nightmare.’ All the members took part in writing and composing, highlighting their growth and adding a more meaningful touch to the album.
‘My First Flip’ marks KickFlip’s comeback after four months, following the release of their second mini-album, ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!,’ on May 26.
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment shared previously that member Amaru will be taking a break due to health reasons and will not be participating in any activities to focus on his health.
