Paris’ charity event, ‘Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes,’ hosted by France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron, saw star-studded K-Pop performances on Thursday.
France’s First Lady held a charity event at the La Défense Arena in Nanterre to raise funds for a hospital foundation she chairs. The event featured performances by various K-Pop acts, including BLACKPINK’s Rosé, BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON and Taeyang, and BTS’ j-hope.
While j-hope opened the act with some of his popular tracks, Rosé performed songs from her debut album ‘rosie,’ including ‘stay a little longer,’ and the smash-hit featuring Bruno Mars, ‘APT.’ BIGBANG’s Taeyang and G-DRAGON also lit the stage with their solo and duo performances. G-DRAGON sang his 2024 tracks, ‘Power’ and ‘Home Sweet Home,’ while Taeyang performed his 2014 hit single ‘Eyes, Nose, Lips’. The highlight of the evening was their 2014 party anthem, ‘Good Boy,’ which Taeyang and G-DRAGON performed together, driving the crowd wild.
The night also showcased captivating performances by artists such as Katy Perry, Aya Nakamura, John Legend, GIMS, Burna Boy, and more, who closed the event.
