On March 15, JYP Entertainment officially announced that they have established the agency’s U.S. branch!
They disclosed in a statement, “JYP USA was established with the goal of securing a strong foothold in the North American market, where K-Pop is increasingly expanding its strong foundation as a global culture, as well as to foster strategic growth and attempt new projects in the future.”
JYP Entertainment’s strong partnership with Republic Records, a U.S. agency, encourages promotions for JYP’s groups like ITZY, TWICE, Stray Kids, and new groups Xdinary Heroes and NMIXX.
JYP USA is further looking for fresh, talented artists in North America, following the footsteps of the agency’s first native Japanese girl group, NiziU.
