Jung Il Woo is finally back!
Actor Jung Il Woo is finally back from the military. According to his label HB Entertainment, the actor got discharged on 30th November at 12 pm KST.
The actor had enlisted on 7th December, 2016 as a public service worker due to his accident that took place in 2006 in which he was seriously injured. He was also diagnosed with cerebral aneurysm which prevented him from enlisting as an active duty soldier, which also could have been the grounds of exemption from mandatory military service. He also revealed, “I will be making my comeback with “Haechi”, I really wanted to act all this while and kept thinking about working.”
“Haechi” is a historical drama in which Jung Il Woo will be playing the character of Prince Yeoning. It’s based on the myth of Haechi, which is a guardian of justice. He will be acting alongside Go Ara and Kwon Yool. It’s expected to broadcast in February 2019 on SBS.
The actor also thanked his fans who patiently waited for his return and said that he’ll work hard to repay all the love and support he’s received.
