Sensational K-Drama Squid Game’s lead actress Jung Ho Yeon, is confirmed as part of the cast for a new Hollywood film.
On April 7 Saram Entertainment declared, “Jung Ho Yeon has been cast to play a lead role in ‘The Governesses,’ which will be directed by Joe Talbot.”
‘The Governesses’ is an adaptation from a novel with the same name, written by Anne Serre, a French writer. The film will show the story of three rebellious governesses who, according to Deadline, “upend the household they work in – inspiriting the minds of the boys in their care, igniting the imaginations of the bohemian couple who employ them and abandoning their charges for erotic adventures.”
Lily-Rose Depp and Renate Reinsve are also part of the cast, and will be playing the governesses alongside Jung Ho Yeon.
Joe Talbot is a 31-year-old American filmmaker, known for his highly commendable direction for ‘American Paradise’ and ‘The Last Black Man in San Francisco.’
It was previously confirmed that Jung Ho Yeon will be part of ‘Disclaimer,’ a new Apple TV+ series. She also recently appeared in The Weeknd’s new song ‘Out of Time’ which premiered on April 5.
