‘Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong’ Crew Embroiled In A Traffic Accident; One Killed & Several Others Injured

On the morning of March 31, a traffic accident transpired between a 45 seater bus carrying the production crew of the drama ‘Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong’ and a dump truck.

According to the reports of the police and fire department on site, the accident took place when the bus collided with the side of the dump truck emerging from the gas station. The horrible incident claimed the life of a male producer in his thirties. In addition to this, three people, including the bus driver suffered serious injuries and whereas seven others were reported to have suffered minor injuries. 

The production company for the said drama released a statement which mentioned that the bus with the crew members were headed to the studio in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and the accident took place when the dump truck that was leaving a gas station after refueling crashed into the bus while forcibly trying to enter the 3rd lane from the 4th.

Confirming the casualties, an official from the company ensured that appropriate measures were being taken to make sure that the injured get proper treatment without any inconvenience. With regards to the drama, the production has been suspended until further notice and the new schedule will be announced after a discussion with the network. 

The plot for ‘Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong’ starring Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi and Kim Sang Kyung,  revolves around Yoo Se Poon, a well known doctor during the Joseon era. The doctor was embroiled in a conspiracy and thus kicked out of the palace ending up at a strange village of Gyeoseo where he becomes the real ‘mind doctor’ after his fateful encounter with Gte Ji Han and Seo Eun Woo.  The drama is set to air around mid 2022.
