Ji Ye Eun and Vata are finally tying the knot!
On September 2, a Korean media outlet reported that actress Ji Ye Eun and dancer Vata (Kim Tae Hyun) are planning to get married in December.
Responding to the reports, Ji Ye Eun’s agency, CP Entertainment announced, “The two have promised to spend their lives together based on deep trust. We ask for your warm blessings and support for the couple as they stand at the threshold of a new beginning.”
Vata’s agency, A-RA, also released a statement saying, “Vata has met a precious partner, and the two are beginning a new journey as a married couple. They have promised to become each other’s most reliable companions based on deep trust and love. We hope you will bless their future with warm hearts.”
Ji Ye Eun and Vata reportedly became acquaintances as church friends, and their friendship developed into a romantic relationship a year ago. The couple publicly acknowledged their relationship in April this year and have since expressed their feelings for each other through shows and social media.
Ye Eun made her debut in 2017 web drama ‘How To’ and later gained popularity for her appearances on variety shows such as ‘SNL Korea’, ‘Running Man’, ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ and ‘Office Workers.’
Vata is the leader of dance crew We Dem Boyz and has also choreographed hit tracks like Zico’s ‘New Thing’ and Jennie’s ‘Like Jennie.’
The couple is scheduled to get married on December 12 in Seoul this year. Interestingly, the wedding date also falls on Vata’s birthday.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
