On March 11 at midnight KST, BLACKPINK’s Jennie unveiled the music video for ‘Handlebars’, a track from her studio album ‘Ruby’, featuring Dua Lipa. A pop song that seamlessly fuses Jennie’s signature style with Dua Lipa’s dynamic vocals, encapsulating the exhilarating yet risky nature of falling in love without hesitation, with Dua Lipa credited as the lyricist for the track.
The ‘Handlebars’ music video presents a dreamy and magical interpretation of the track, enhancing its impact with mesmerizing aesthetics. The stunning visuals of both artists further elevate the song, creating a captivating visual experience for viewers.
Jennie and Dua Lipa’s connection goes beyond their first collaboration on ‘Kiss and Make Up’ in 2018, a track featuring BLACKPINK. Since then, both artists have continued to support each other, and this new collaboration further strengthens their bond.
Jennie recently unveiled her first full-length album, ‘Ruby’, featuring 15 tracks across various genres and collaborations with international artists, writers, and producers. The album has been garnering widespread recognition and achieving record-breaking milestones.
Celebrating the release of ‘Ruby’, Jennie is hosting ‘The Ruby Experience’, which began with two successful performances in Los Angeles, where she unveiled the album for the first time. She will next perform in New York on March 10, followed by a final show at Seoul’s Inspire Arena on March 15.
