Jay Park, one of Korean R&B’s biggest names, has been announced as Showdown’s host.
According to the news released by media outlets, JTBC is in preparations to launch a survival dance program named ‘Showdown.’ The program is scheduled to begin in March, but no confirmed dates have been announced yet.
The show is expected to show fiery dance battles between the country’s most popular crews and break-dancers. A total of eight crews will be competing in this energetic show and some of the names include, Fusion MC, Jinjjo Crew, Rivers Crew, FlowXL, Gamblerz, and more. Some crews are known for representing South Korea on breakdance platforms and are presently working towards the 2022 Asian Games, including Fresh Bella of Fusion MC, and BBOY LEON.
Jay Park being a former break-dancer himself, fans are looking forward to seeing his energy as a host for this upcoming show.
