IZ*ONE’s Japanese Debut Single Certified Platinum

IZ*ONE’s Japanese debut single has been certified Platinum!

The twelve membered Korean-Japanese girl group from the Mnet reality show Produce 48 is composed of twelve members – Kwon Eunbi, Sakura Miyawaki, Kang Hyewon, Choi Yena, Lee Chaeyeon, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minjoo, Nako Yabuki, Hitomi Honda, Jo Yuri, Ahn Yujin and Jang Wonyoung.

The girl group dropped their Japanese debut single ‘Suki to Iwasetai (好きと言わせたい)’ on 6th February (2019) and immediately topped the Oricon charts. One month later the release has received an official Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) after selling over 250,000 copies.

According to the Recording Industry Assosciation of Japan’s standards, an albums is certified Gold at selling 100,000 copies and Platinum at selling 250,000 copies.
