IU’s Concert Live Film ‘IU Concert: The Winning’ Confirmed To Release In January

Singer and actress IU’s concert live film ‘IU Concert: The Winning’ has been confirmed to premiere on January 24.

On January 7, the poster and main trailer for IU’s concert film were revealed, and the film will hit the big screens on January 24. The concert film titled ‘IU Concert: The Winning’ will be the first live concert film to be released across all formats, including 2D, IMAX, SCREENX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX. It will feature her 100th concert, ‘HEREH ENCORE: THE WINNING,’ which was held on September 21 and 22 last year as a part of her first-ever world tour. The second day of her encore concert (September 22) marked the 100th solo concert of IU’s career.

The released trailer and poster capture the IU’s enigmatic aura and skillful performance in a purple dreamy ambiance. The trailer reveals a breathtaking drone shot of illuminated skies, the exuberant crowd, and IU’s cheerful interactions with them.

‘HEREH WORLD TOUR’ was IU’s first world tour and her ninth concert tour, which kicked off in March in Seoul last year. She went on to perform at various venues across Asia, North America, and Europe before finally concluding the tour with encore concerts in Seoul in September.

Interestingly, this film will be IU’s second concert film to enjoy a cinematic release. Her first concert film, ‘IU Concert: The Golden Hour,’ premiered in September 2023 and showcased her 2022 concert performance at Seoul’s iconic Olympic Main Stadium.
