IU Drops Teaser For Her Upcoming Digital Single ‘strawberry moon’

K-Pop soloist IU has dropped the first teaser image for her upcoming digital single ‘strawberry moon’ on October 12.

In the teaser, IU is looking stunning in a purple car. The pink background has certain lines, which may be the lyrics of the song such as “A dandelion weightless”, “a scoop of strawberry moon”. The scoop in the sentence could also very well refer to the giant tub of strawberry ice cream the artist was seen seated on during the previous teaser.

Previously on October 7, the artist had released a concept moving teaser on her Twitter account. The teaser was in the form of a tabloid English newspaper with the headline that read, “IU’s ‘strawberry moon’ that makes love come true will rise” along with an image of a couple holding hands. Another headline under the first one read, “Different names to call a full moon” with a photo of the artist holding a camera.

According to the teasers released so far, the single has set up a dreamy and fantasy scenario for the single. IU is making her comeback seven months after the release of her fifth full-length album ‘Lilac’.

‘strawberry moon’ will be released on October 19, 00 KST (8:30 PM IST).
