Marvel released a 2 minute long trailer of their latest film, ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’, which is Marvel’s first Asian-lead superhero film and fans couldn’t help but pay attention to the soundtrack of the trailer. Fans began to speculate that the OST might have been sung by GOT7’s Jackson Wang and this speculation increased when 88 Rising, the media company that Jackson collaborates with, posted the trailer and tagged Jackson Wang and Marvels along with themselves. Although there has been no official confirmation yet from Wang and Marvel, fans are already hyped as once it’s confirmed, Jackson Wang will be the first K-POP artist to sing an OST for a Marvel movie.
This is however not the first time, Jackson’s name has been linked to the movie. His name was also making the rounds when Marvel was casting for a Chinese actor. In the movie, Shang-Chi is someone who tries to confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. Shang-Chi is based on a ’70s comic-book character called the Master of Kung Fu. In the comics, Shang-Chi’s father trains him in martial arts. He eventually gains formidable skills, all the while unraveling the truth behind his father’s intentions. The movie will hit the cinemas on September 3 worldwide, and in India, it will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. (This is a developing story)
