Gambler – MONSTA X
Release Date – 1st June
Monstax came back with their 9th mini-album ‘One of a kind’. ‘Gambler’ is the title track for the album and according to a press statement, ‘Gambler’ is a tune that “represents the fatal masculinity of MONSTA X”, while depicting “a strong attraction, to a point where one is ready to bet everything. The Music video serves great cinematic while depicting a suspenseful and tempting story.
Where Are We Now – MAMAMOO
Release Date – 2nd June
Mamamoo reunited for their 11th mini-album ‘Where are we now’. The title track is a soulful ballad that is a gift for their fans. Their song depicts Mamamoo’s past and future and shapes a story and message for their fans. The vocals of all four members make this song even more soothing.
Save – NCT127 X Amoeba Culture
Release Date – 4th June
‘Save’ is the collaborative song of NCT 127 with the talents behind the independent label Amoeba Culture Amoeba culture. The lyrics talk about saving the memories of loved ones even when they are apart. The dynamic song has a very catchy chorus which hooks the audience.
Don’t Fight The Feeling – EXO
Release Date – 7th June
‘Don’t fight the feeling’ was EXO’s much-anticipated comeback which was released on 7th June 2021. This special album commemorates EXO’s 9 year anniversary with a seven-member comeback that marks the return of Xiumin and D.O. from their mandatory military service, as well as Chinese member Lay, who had been on a hiatus from EXO activities since 2016. The music video gives a futuristic and Sci-fi vibe because of the presence of spaceships and space stations. The choreography is very catchy and suits the concept well.
Alcohol-Free – TWICE
Release Date – 9th June
‘Alcohol -Free’ is the perfect summer song that TWICE released on 9th June. The Music video gives you a very chill and refreshing vibe. Girls have pulled out the bohemian concept very well. This bossa nova fusion track became everyone’s summer anthem in a very short period.
Broken Me – BM [KARD]
Release Date – 9th June
‘Broken Me’ is a collaboration between KARD’s label DSP Media and 8PEX Company. It is a great song with a cinematic feel shot by the new tech which looks extremely appealing in the MV. The track is about fighting a war with oneself. It is a song for the fans who feel broken. The song is also being released as a part of the OST for the short film ‘The Brave New World’ starring Park Eun Seok.
Magic – TXT.
Release Date – 11th June
‘Magic’ is the 1st English track of TXT from the album ‘0X1= Love song( I know I love you)’. The music video for the song released on June 11 the concept of which is based on Sci-fi themes. We can see many robots and virtual technologies used in the MV for its reference. The track is overall very groovy and bouncy which makes you hooked to it in no time.
riBBon- BamBam [GOT7]
Release Date – 15th June
Bambam released his first solo album ‘riBBon’ on 15 June under the new label Abyss company. The title track ‘riBBon’ has a colorful and very joyful music video that will lighten up your mood. The lyrics talk about how he is showing his new versions and colors through music in his career as a solo artist. This fun and upbeat track will be a great addition to your summer playlist.
데 잘못이야 (All your fault)) – Yugyeom [GOT7](ft. GRAY)
Release Date – 17th June
Yugyeom released his first solo album ‘Point of View:U’ under his new company AOMG. The music video for the title track ‘All your fault’ featuring GRAY was released on 17 June 2021. Yugyeom unveils dramatic video for the title track. We get to see the dark side of Yugyeom which was new to many of the fans. This groovy R&B track showcased Yugyeom’s vocal and GRAY’s rap very nicely.
A.C.E – Higher
Release Date – 22nd June
A.C.E came back with their fifth mini-album ‘SIREN: DAWN’ with the music video for their title track ‘Higher’ on 22nd June. This is A.C.E’s first comeback of 2021 and their first since Swing Entertainment announced that they will co-manage the group alongside the original agency Beat Interactive. ‘Higher’ is a cross between future bass and progressive house and was produced to be an aesthetic song. The vocals do a good job standing out over the abrasiveness and potentially overpowering energy of the future bass chorus.
Lazy – Woosung [The Rose]
Release Date – 24th June
Woosung dropped a new highly relatable solo single ‘Lazy’ feat. Reddy. The Music video is vibrant and shows a day in the life of the singer from a lazy morning to practice in the evening and ending the day with a party. The song and the MV is the perfect rendition of a lazy summer having both productive and non-productive days.
OH – Stray Kids
Release Date – 25th June
On June 25th Stray Kids dropped their surprise mixtape ‘OH’. It created a buzz among fans as it was an OT8 track after a while, fans were very delighted to see Hyunjin back. It is a soulful and soothing track. The music video seems like a continuation of the storyline of ‘On track’ and ‘B Me’.
Make It – 2PM
Release Date – 28th June
Second Generation Boy Group 2PM makes the long-awaited return with ‘Make It’. The song shows the group’s flirty and sultry charm which they seem to have mastered after all these years in the industry. The song is a party banger and is goofy as you would expect from a 2PM’s track.
PPT – LOONA
Release Date – 28th June
The title track, ‘PTT (Paint The Town)’ is a dance hip-hop genre song that contains Loona’s explosive energy, combined with all the essential elements of a Bollywood song. The foreign influence that featured in the song created a dynamic atmosphere which made it quite catchy.
Hello Future – NCT DREAM
Release Date – 28th June
‘Hello Future’ is one of the 3 new songs in the group’s first Album Repackage. The track is a gleaming juggernaut of a song that encapsulates all sides of the NCT DREAM members and then sends them soaring off into the stratosphere.
