On April 1, SM Entertainment announced that EXO is holding a live broadcast to celebrate their debut anniversary. The event, ‘EXO: 13IRTHDAY HOME PARTY,’ will be broadcast live on YouTube, Weverse, and TikTok. The agency also added that the participating members are Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., and Kai.

EXO has also opened a form on Naver to take suggestions from fans about activities the members can do during the live, including cute challenges for the members to try and selecting the menu for EXO’s HOME PARTY.
EXO debuted on April 8, 2012, with the song ‘MAMA,’ and the EP of the same name, released on April 9, 2012. Since then, the group has released various studio and mini-albums like ‘XOXO,’ ‘Universe,’ ‘Don’t Mess Up My Tempo,’ and more. Their last group comeback was in July 2023 with ‘EXIST’ and its title track, ‘Cream Soda.’ Initially a twelve-member group, EXO now comprises nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.
