E’LAST is back with the full team in their latest comeback with their first single album ‘Dark Dream’.
The 8-member boy group under E Entertainment has also released the official MV for their title track which has the same name as the album. ‘Dark Dream’ has a powerful beat featuring grand orchestral accompaniments. The lyrics dive into the feelings of a person who cannot move on from a past relationship and keeps revisiting their memories. The MV is as dramatic as the song, with the members tied with red strings and singing about an ill-fated relationship.
The EP also features two additional tracks, ‘Muse’ and ‘To.Lie.’ ‘Muse’ is addressed to a cold-hearted lover. It is a 90s R&B-style song with elements of trap-based hip-hop. On the other hand, ‘To.Lie’ is an upbeat pop track about someone not wanting to wake up from a dream where their love is still with them.
With ‘Dark Dream,’ E’LAST continues to explore the ideas of love, conflict and awakening that they began with their debut album ‘Day Dream.’
