CHUU is back with new music!
On April 21 at 6:00 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), CHUU released her long-anticipated third mini album, ‘Only cry in the rain’. The album captures a journey of moving forward while facing the unseen presence of memories and emotions. It reflects on feelings once forgotten and explores how they remain an integral part of who she is today.
‘Only cry in the rain’ features five tracks, with the title track ‘Only cry in the rain’ delivering a comforting message. Blending dreamy synth-pop with her vocal harmony, it carries melancholic emotions within a cheerful rhythm. The music video complements the track, creating a short film-like experience with cinematic, vintage vibes. It conveys various emotions, making it a deeply sentimental experience.
The B-side tracks on the album, including ‘Back in town’, ‘Kiss a kitty’, ‘Je t’aime’, and ‘No more’, explore different emotional themes, offering comfort as CHUU wishes for them to naturally blend into the everyday lives of listeners. Since this is her first album in ten months, she wanted to present a new, more mature side of herself through this heartfelt album.
CHUU has been continuously promoting the album through various appearances on television shows, YouTube channels, and other platforms. To celebrate the release, a pop-up store will be held from April 24 to 27, followed by a fan sign event and a video call event on May 11. Through these events, CHUU aims to create special memories and personally connect with her fans.
Additionally, CHUU is also part of the Netflix show ‘The Devil’s Plan: Death Room’, scheduled to premiere from May 6 to May 20.
