BTS has achieved yet another major milestone with their hit song ‘Dynamite’!
On September 4 at around 9:16 AM KST (5:46 AM IST), the music video for BTS’s global smash hit ‘Dynamite’ surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube, making them the first K-Pop boy groups to reach this milestone on the video-sharing platform.

Originally released on August 21, 2020, at 1 PM KST (9:30 AM IST), it took approximately 5 years, 13 days, and 20 hours for ‘Dynamite’ to hit the milestone.
‘Dynamite’ was a groundbreaking release for BTS, serving as their first full English-language single and making history as the first song by a K-pop act to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also earned the group a Grammy nomination. With its vibrant, disco-pop sound, the track brought comfort and joy to listeners during the pandemic.
Now, with this latest achievement, ‘Dynamite’ continues to shine as one of BTS’s most impactful songs to date.
