BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and actor Seo In Guk are set to lead Netflix’s new drama!
On February 20, Netflix Korea confirmed the casting of Jisoo and Seo In Guk in the upcoming production, ‘Boyfriend on Demand’ (working title). A romantic comedy, ‘Boyfriend on Demand’ follows Mi Rae (Jisoo), an overworked webtoon producer whose hectic schedule has left her with a non-existent dating life.

When Mi Rae unexpectedly comes across a “Monthly Boyfriend” device, it awakens her dormant desire to experience the perfect romance. Using the device, she enters a virtual reality where she keeps meeting flawless dating partners, making her reconsider giving love a second chance.
Seo In Guk will take on the role of Park Kyeong Nam, Mi Rae’s fellow webtoon producer and work rival. Cold and distant, yet brilliant at what he does, Kyeong Nam evokes uncomfortable feelings in Mi Rae. However, beneath his seemingly indifferent exterior, he harbors secrets that will shake things up—especially for Mi Rae.
Directed by Kim Jung Sik, best known for ‘Work Later, Drink Now’ and ‘No Gain No Love,’ the drama promises a blend of humor and heart-fluttering moments.
‘Boyfriend on Demand’ will be available on Netflix.
